Pink Martini

The Portland Oregon-based “little orchestra” was founded in 1994 by Harvard graduate and classically trained pianist, Thomas Lauderdale. In the years following their formation, the 4 person group grew to its current twelve person line-up. Pink Martini has performed their multilingual repertoire on concert stages and with symphony orchestras throughout Europe, Asia, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Canada, and the United States. The group’s debut album, “Sympathique” was released in 1997 and quickly became an international phenomenon gaining Pink Martini a massive following, especially in France. The highly-anticipated follow-up, “Hang on Little Tomato” was released 7 years later and climbed to #1 on Amazon.com’s best sellers list.
