
Tom Jones is a Welsh singer-songwriter with a career spanning more than 50 years and including over 100 million records sold. Tom first rose to fame in the 1960s with his exuberant and sexual live act. His most successful single was released in 1965. Titled “Green Green Grass of Home,” it was inspired by long-time influence Jerry Lee Lewis. He followed it with many other successes such as “What’s New Pussycat?” “Help Yourself,” and “She’s a Lady.” Tom continued to record and tour through the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. He saw a huge resurgence of popularity with the release of his 2000 album, Reload. It included hits such as “Black Betty” and club hit “Sex Bomb.”
