Jill Scott

Jill Scott, in her own words, says she is a poet first. Her latest studio release is The Real Thing: Words & Sounds Vol. 3. The CD/DVD Live in Paris was just released as well. Scott is a truly unique and insightful visionary who is in her prime. Scott’s recent singles from her latest album My Love and Wanna Be Loved both show her growth as a songwriter and visionary. The Philadelphia native has collaborated with the likes of The Roots, Chris Botti, the Isley Brothers and Darius Rucker. Most recently she has been a contributor to Oprah Winfrey’s O! Magazine (Dec. ’04 issue) and can be seen in a Coca-Cola commercial. Scott’s other releases are the wildly successful Who is Jill Scott? Words and Music Vol. 1 and Beautifully Human: Words & Sounds Vol. 2.
