SYMPHONY ASSOCIATES |

The Atlanta
Symphony Associates (ASA) is the volunteer organization for
the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Membership is open to both men
and women volunteers interested in supporting the Orchestra.
Members may belong to any of the seven membership units. For
over fifty years, the Associates have been the backbone of the
ASO with its varied fund-raising, community outreach and educational
efforts.
Working together, ASA members:
- raise
over $1 million annually for the ASO through the Decorators'
Show House, Atlanta Symphony Ball, Sleighbell Luncheon and
Fashion Show, Annual Fund Campaign, and newest fund-raiser,
the ASA cookbook Sounds Delicious.
- bring
classical music into the lives of over 40,000 children and
adults annually, by presenting an Adult Education and Meet
the Artist series, ushering for children's Discovery Concerts,
and orchestrating ASA Outreach projects.
- show
appreciation to members of the ASO family by hosting ASA
Nights at the Symphony, ASO musicians, chorus and staff
events and the ASYO Annual Ball.

The
Atlanta Symphony Ball
This Black Tie gala, held in November, is one of Atlanta's
premier social events. The ASO performs a special concert
followed by two elegant and dazzling parties: Maestro and
Overture. This year's Maestro Ball will be held on the site
of our new Symphony Center; right across from the Four Seasons
on 14th Street. The theme is Imagine! the Shape of Things
to Come. For more information, please call Julie Rodebush
at 404-733-5069.
The
Decorator's Show House
Each spring Atlanta's finest interior and landscape designers
transform one of city's grand homes into a spectacular showcase
of talent and splendor. The celebration kicks off with an
Opening Night Party where volunteers mingle with the design
community. Thousands of dedicated volunteers take part in
this extraordinary fundraiser every year. For more information
on the Decorators' Show House and how you can get involved,
please call Julie Rodebush at 404-733-5069.
Sleighbell
Luncheon and Fashion Show
This Atlanta tradition kicks off the holiday season in one
of Atlanta's finest hotels.
