GENERAL INFORMATION
 

RESTROOMS: First floor restrooms are located in the hallway between the WAC Box Office and the Atlanta College of Art Library and are wheelchair-accessible. Second floor elevators are adjacent to the elevators at the North and South entrances. Elevators are wheelchair-accessible and controls are designated in braille in addition to the standard visual markings.

LATE SEATING: Late-comers will be seated at the discretion of the house management at an appropriate interval in the concert program. Reserved seats are not guaranteed after the performance starts. Late-comers may be seatedin the back out of courtesy to the Musicians and other patrons.

ASO GIFT CERTIFICATES: are available in any amount and for any series through the WAC Box Office. To order, call 404-733-5000.

WOODRUFF ARTS CENTER GIFT SHOP: is located in the Galleria of the WAC. Quality gifts, musical items, tapes & CD's, t-shirts and unique stationery are among the offerings. Proceeds benefit the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION CONNECTIONS: are available through the MARTA rapid rail system. The Arts Center station is connected by covered walkway to the Woodruff Arts Center (WAC). Trains arrive and depart every ten minutes until approximately 1 a.m. For information on bus routes or other details of MARTA services, call 404-848-4711.

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE: All programs of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra are accesible to people with special needs. Persons requiring assistance are requested to phone the WAC Box Office at 404-733-5000 in advance. Wheelchair-accessible seating decks are located in the rear orchestra of Atlanta Symphony Hall. Adjacent companion seats are also available in the same area.

AUDIO AIDS: The Phonic Ear® Easy ListenerTM FM Listening System is a wireless, portable sound-enhancement system for people with hearing impairment. It may be obtained from the House Manager in the main entrance to Atlanta Symphony Hall, inside the main concert-level hall doors. A driver's license or credit card is requested and will be held until the equipment is returned.

CAN"T ATTEND A CONCERT?:
Please don't let your tickets go unused. If you cannot use or exchange your tickets, please pass them on to friends or donate to them to the ASO. To donate your tickets to the ASO, please phone the Woodruff Arts Center Box Office at 404-733-5000 before performance time. The WAC Box Office can take the location of your seats and make them available to waiting patrons. A receipt acknowledging the value of your tickets will be issued to you in January for all seats donated for resale.

THE ROBERT SHAW ROOM: Atlanta Symphony donors who contribute at least $1,250 annually are eligible to become members of the Robert Shaw Room. This private salon is open for cocktails and dining on Thursday and Friday Master Season concert evenings. It is conveniently located in the WAC. The Robert Shaw Room is also available for private rental. For more information, call 404/733-4860.

FANFARE DINING: The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Dining Experience. There's a quality space for concertgoers to dine prior to Masterworks & SunTrust SuperPOPS performances by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Fanfare offers a variety of fine food - including assorted salads, pasta and fish - and is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6-8 pm. Fanfare is located in the Symphony Gallery on the balcony level of the Woodruff Arts Center. Prix fixe dinners range from $9.50 to $18.00. Reservations are recommended. Call 404-733-4275.

SMOKE FREE POLICY: The Woodruff Arts Center maintains a non-smoking policy effective in all Arts Center lobbies. Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas only.
